ACC Sensitive Claims (ISSC)
ACC Sensitive Claims (ISSC)
Mirror Services is an accredited ACC Sensitive Claims Service Supplier.
We can provide counselling support through our providers, to those looking for local (Dunedin-based) support for sexual abuse or assault.
Information for clients:
We have kaimahi that provide a range of specialisations working alongside ACC Sensitive Claims clients.
Our registered, professional and experienced team of clinicians can assist survivors of sexual abuse or assault to access up to 14 hours of one-to-one therapy, 10 hours of social work, and up to 20 hours of whānau support before having their claim assessed for cover.
The first sessions focus on building a relationship with the therapist and deciding if they're the right fit. For some people, a few sessions are all that’s needed. If ongoing help is needed, the therapist will work with the client to assess the level and type of support needed.
